An amazing about turn by Captain Ahab –
He has, according to world media sources, decided to give up the White Whale and forgive the shearing-off of his leg.
Listen to his change of heart here.

Nantucket Sound by Tom Casey in Seattle
If I ask the stars to shine all night, convince the Wind to waft a gentle summer breeze up in your room,
will you think of me then when you lie awake and hear the harbor whistle blow, remember my touch where it last fell so many tides before I can’t recall?
Think back, you beauty, then trace in dreams June evenings wandering Vineyard fields. Dawn face and crystal eyes, your hair and neck so new. Fascination bears no hour hand. Now measure the fathoms from you. So bear my dreams upon calm seas. This time I cannot sail Nantucket Sound on summer nights when harbor lights and midnight dreams splash warm. Please don’t forget me.
Hi Tom in Seattle,
Thanks for that – a poem?
